The charming vintage elements mixed with modern convenience were good.
Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite basic with limited options. The coffee machine was confusing for many guests, leading to long queues. The restaurant did not meet expectations, as I found the cuisine to be overrated, especially considering the rich local culinary scene.

Excellent view and interesting contemporary (sympathetic) remodelling of an old building. Quiet and relaxed breakfast area.
WiFi on top floor was very intermittent, but it was included in the room price which was good.

Beautifully designed units with a very good bathroom, Juliette balconies, for instance, helpful employees. What a particularly good and fantastic location to the key sights in the town on foot!

conveniently close to parks and major attractions
I appreciated the grand old style of the hotel, and its fantastic central location made it easy to explore nearby parks like Jardin du Chateau d'eau and other attractions such as the Sea Theatre as I strolled around the city.

An idylic location and so simple a hotel to embrace. Would love to come back in the depths of Winter to see how the ambience changes with season.

Luxurious, Elegant, Charming
I adored the beautiful interior with its galleried atrium. The room had amazing canal views. The restaurant's focus on local seafood specialties really showcased the region's culinary traditions!

The views from the front rooms are fine, especially over the canals, which really added charm to our stay.
Breakfast options could be more varied and a kettle in the room would have enhanced our experience.

Old building tastefully decorated with hand artwork and 'soft' tones and themes history not destroyed with chrome and glass, great. Even rooms on main road have excellent noise insulation.

The lobby had a lovely design, made coming and going feel special. Check out nearby cafes for late-night snacks. They can save you some hassle.
